Lined out long spaces in paved area specifically for RV's only, all with BBQ/fireplaces and picnic table--see new photo. No need to register, welcome to stay up to 3 nights for free. Small casino, restaurant with full mexican menu, burgers, sandwiches, pizzas and ice cream parlor plus convenience store with food to go. Gas and diesel, no DEF pump. $10 for dump and fresh water fill.
The marvelous $14 buffet they had prior to Covid is now replaced by a steak restaurant. Also has a chinese restaurant and a bar&grill, all way too expensive. There is a mexican restaurant a block away plus several fast food places with in a mile. Sign says 24 hour stay, but no parking lot security patrol. I just stayed 3 days and saw no patrolling, same in prior years. Huge lot gets filled up with...
Park on the far left end of paved lot. Show ID to security guard and confirm how long you can stay -- I was told one night only. Medium size casino with no table games. Has a bar/grill and a separate cafe. Expect to pay $20 to $30 for a meal. No other businesses are around, so one night is plenty.
Overnight RV parking is not allowed unless you rent a room -- and what would you need a room for ??? See photo here of the sign. Same goes for Agua Caliente's West Palm Springs casino and the Cathedral City casino locations.
Security guard said to park RVs in the middle of the shared lot between the casino and the Holiday Inn, and said I could stay 3 or 4 nights before they would do a welfare check on me. Gold Town's restaurant is temporary/permanently closed, but the Nugget Casino across the street has a steakhouse and a regular cafe and a Capriotti's Sandwich Shop, plus other restaurants within a few blocks, and a Walmart down the road.
I stayed there 3 nights in March 2023. Seems more like a truck stop with a casino, rather than a casino with a truck stop. Parking spaces are 12 feet wide and 50 feet long, so you may be just 3 feet from your neighbor, which will likely be an 18-wheeler truck. I parked taking up 2 spaces to give comfort room, but the security guard came out and made me move within one space's lines. There...
Used to be about the only casino in Las Vegas that allowed RV overnight parking. But now, 2023, they have a sign (photo shown here) totally banning overnight parking if you stay in your RV. Even if you rent a room, you still cannot stay in your RV. Huge oversize vehicle parking lot, which is almost full of semi-trucks.
Stayed there March 2023, fairly small casino, good restaurant, but not much else. Other stores around and a Walmart 1-1/2 mile away. Strict about leaving before noon the next day. So I guess they want you to go eat lunch somewhere else. Huge parking lot with several semi-trucks parked.
Kickapoo is now on an online reservation system only, contracted out to www.roverpass.com. RV park rates are $25 Sun-Thu & $40 Fri-Sat, and also charge a $5 reservation fee plus sales taxes, so one night weekdays is $33.56 and a weekend day is $50.70. So my opinion is they are now going for serious gamblers only and not cheap RV'rs like me, spending money only for meals.
The casino is very small, slots only, and the snack bar has a very limited menu, but also has a McDonald''s inside and a good convenience store. Also showers available. No dump or water. It is much more of a truck stop than a casino.
Name is changed to Hoover Dam Casino. I went there 3/8/23 and was told at the front desk that overnight RV parking is no longer allowed because RV people kept leaving trash all over the parking lot. New website is https://hooverdamlodge.com
Just like all other Desert Diamond locations, this one has gone to a 24 hour parking limit and to get additional days, you have to get permission directly from the casino manager, who will look to see how much gambling you have done. Only good thing is their grill has very good food and very reasonably priced.
Security officer at the casino main door told me overnight parking is not allowed and if I stay after midnight, they would come out to my RV and tell me to leave. I told him that policy is turning away customers, sending them to the nearby Desert Diamond casinos, which at least allow 1 or 2 nights parking. So I turned away from the door and immediately went to DD to give them my business.
RV parking limited to only 24 hours plus you have to register with the security desk - hardliy worth the trouble. They will allow additional days with special permission if you gamble but a $75 a night RV resort would be cheaper.
Renamed Gila River Casino/Vee Quiva. They have an RV/truck designated parking lot on gravel and parking is limited to only 24 hours. There are 5 eating places in the casino, but all expensive.
