RV Parking Area

Casino Camper Report, August 14, 2009 We visited but didn't spend the night. Nice RV parking area with good access, clear signage, etc. Popular location, was too crowded when we arrived and no room for us to park without unhooking the toad. We wanted to remain hooked up so we headed down the road. Will likely stop by again next year.

Talking to the staff there is some changes coming. They have some more spaces lined out and I inquired about them and they are adding 13 (?) more electric spots in the area where the original casino tent was at. He made it sound like they were going to make some (All?) electric spots reservable. Also there is long range plans, two plus years out, for an RV park. He hinted that there was going to be some free dry spaces, but everything is still in the planning stages. As of now they put a $30 hold on credit card, then remove it upon you having played the required 50 points on your player card.

We hit this one quite often. There is now a checkin office in the lot. Players card required, you need to get some points for the "Free" night, might cost $20-30 to get your points. The last time they gave me the courtesy to register and gave me a spot on the promise that I would go play for awhile. And the wife played way more than needed. They also have come spots with 30/50 amp electric that are first come and no extra charge which is nice. Restaurants are nice and food quality is good. Only disappointment is smoking is still allowed and the ventilation isn't the greatest, but the non-smoking area is decent. If you call or go to the valet parking they will shuttle you to the lot. There is numbers posted and I think on checkin they will give you a card with number.

Camped for two nights at the casino lot. There is no noise from the road, quiet hours 10-07 and it is free.

Great location to park your rv for a few days if you want, first 4 days are free after that you need 100 points on your card then you get 4 more nights. the first 2 lower parking lots are for rv's and there were many. i was told they can hold up to 100, and have other overflow parking i probably did not see. no generators 10pm to 7am so that was nice and people seem to stick to the rules. great location for exploring the oregon coast.

Three Rivers Casino, Florence OR (43 58.831 124 05.250) Friendly and helpful staff, an excellent and well priced buffet plus a small lake with park-like surroundings by the extensive, level parking lots Big rig friendly – no real need to unhook the toad unless exploring This may be the “new” best Casino location for me so far because it offers most of the features that we “casino campers” require for our free nights on the road. Patrons check in as usual with Security to get a four day pass that can be extended if one has enough activity on one’s Player’s Card, meaning, if you don’t play than you will have to move along. With the Player’s Card, one gets a “mystery” amount, in my case $10 worth of free play. The town of Florence is only a mile away with an interesting area by the docks full of seafood restaurants and antique shops Also, the cheapest fuel, so far on my winter trip for diesel costing $1.69/gallon at the Space Age Service Station, across from Safeway which offered the same price but would have been a little tight for manoeuvring.

Update on new RV parking rules. Allowed 4 nights with Players Club card. Must register with Security. After 4 nights you may be allowed to register for another 4 nights -AFTER they check your Players Club card for activity. Told us they have people who do not use the casino during their first 4 nights and therefore are not allowed in for another 4 nights.

We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere at Three Rivers Casino. Received $10 free slot play when signing up for player's club. Friendly employees! Enjoyed the free sodas, tea (hot and cold), and coffee! We ate at the World Market Buffet. Lunch for $7.77 (expect Sunday). Dinner $9.99 (Sunday - Thursday). The food was so-so. It did not have the individual flavor and kick we were looking for. We really like the closeness to Florence. Safeway! Fred Meyer! Grocery Outlet! Rite Aid! Bi-Mart! Just to mention a few. The casino RV parking lot fill up fast, especially during the weekends. Getting here in the morning or afternoon might be your best option.

RV parking ok. Extremely windy, sand everywhere in TT. Alot of rude sanddune riders park there at night. Dog owners don't pick up their dogs stuff. And very few dogs on leashs. Casino ok. 7 nights with sign in.

April, 2010

Report from Marlin & Kay, April, 2010 This continues to be a great place to spend a night (or the maximum of 7 nights). There is a large lot in front of the casino and people park there on a nice paved lot. The lot is pretty level. It is just a short walk to the casino. You must register at security and they will give you your pass. If you wish, you may join the Players Club and receive $10 in slot play; if you partake of the buffet you get another $4. The Sunday buffet consisted of prime rib which was pretty good. This is a nice large casino and they have entertainment. The casino is located just east of town on highway 126 headed to Eugene. Security patrols and checks to see that you are registered. You would feel safe leaving your RV in the lot while out sightseeing.

Report from Karen B., April 2009 The RV parking has been moved to a lot in the front of the casino. Look for the signs. You don't have to check in unless you will be staying more than three days.

September 2006

- from reader Cathy L., September 2006. We stayed at the Three Rivers Casino in Florence Oregon in September of 2006 and were very happy with the facilities. There is a large lot in the rear of the casino that is nice and level. They have chains separating the sites. One side is marked for RV's larger than 30 feet and has very wide sites. The other side is for the smaller rigs but the site width is more than sufficient. There is no charge for the use of these sites. The people at the Casino were very friendly. The greeter at the door said we could stay as long as we liked. We ate in the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. We aren't gamblers so can't comment on the gaming. We just stayed there to save money. We will definitely go back again. It is off the main drag so it was very quiet.
