July 2007

report from Larry & Bette, July 2007 Just want to say The Paragon Casinos R.V. park in Marksville LA. is really wonderful and just want to add that security there is great. We have never seen so many security trucks patrolling any park we have stayed at. It really makes you feel safe, we had no problems and the park is beautiful and very quiet at night. We will be back here again. The prices are wonderful too.

February 2007

report from reader Carolyn A., February 2007 We stayed at the Paragon RV Park and will rate it as one of the nicest RV parks that we have stayed at. Almost every site is a pull through with concrete drives and pads. There is a concrete picnic table and garbage can at each site. Price is $12.95 Sun-Thur., $15.95 Fri-Sat., and $19.95 Holiday & Concert days. Passport Amer. discount is good for 5 days once per month. They also honor Good Sam's. They have cabins and chalets available at $49.95-$79.95 per night. There is a very large club house, laundry, and pool. There is a playground. Shuttle service to the casino is available 24 hrs. WiFi is available in the park for $3.00/day, $15.00/wk., $25.00/mo. The signal is a little weak. Our Verizon wireless card works well here. The casino is quite large with a good variety of machines in all denominations. They have several video poker machines that take up to 20 coin, but you are not penalized if you only play 5. There is 9/6 Jacks or Better (.05cents included), & 10/8 Bonus Poker. Drinks are offered and there are coffee stations located around the casino.

February 2007

report from reader Anonymous, February 2007 We have stopped at the casino in Marksville, LA. Quite a number of times, usually at least two trips each year. Very nice RV park and have done somewhat well in the casino. Rates $13 per night, under $7 if you are a member of Passport America. They are pretty free with the drinks also.
