Terrible's is back in Pahrump

This is the former Mountain View Casino. Bought by Terrible's and completely refurbished. Overnight parking is allowed I spoke with two different managers over a week apart. Restaurant is a barbeque restaurant and much better than typical casino fare.

RV Parking Allowed

RV parking is in the lot in front of the casino. There are no designated RV spots, you park across car spots the same as you would at WalMart. Parking is allowed, sometimes for days. This is a safe parking spot with many eateries within easy walking distance. I have not parked here but I own a winter spot in Pahrump, so I am familiar with the area. I have spoken with casino employees who all...

A regular stop when traveling I-40

Be sure to ask for the "billboard rate" of $18 when checking in to the RV park. Otherwise, the Good Sam rate is $21. Last time we stayed was August 2015 before writing this review. Casino does not allow dry camping by RVs. (Editors Note: Overnight RV Parking IS allowed again. See the comment on this review). To stay overnight here, you must use either the hotel or RV park. Campground is sometimes filled with weeds, other...

Overnight Parking Permission Granted

We overnighted here on the way to the Balloon Fiesta in 2014. Asked and received permission to park overnight in the large lot south of the casino. Parking is level and regularly patrolled by security but very noisy because of proximity to I-40. Dining room has daily specials that are better than most places. Discount offered if you get a player's card. Nice gift shop featuring Navajo made items.

Avoid the buffet

RV park is just hookups in the parking lot. All spaces are designed to be back in, but since we were the only RV in the park, we pulled through and let the car hang over. Power is clean, we did not hook up water or sewer. Price is great, only $16.30 per night including tax. Casino is smokey so we did not spend any time in there. Went to the buffet for dinner, it was poor...
