Report from Kevin and Michelle, October 23 2009

We stayed at the Colusa Casino and Resort in July 2009. There is good, level parking just north of the Casino main building. There is a nice (not great) buffet, the usual games and slot machines. It is very quiet here.

This casino is just off Interstate 5 on Hwy 45 about 5 miles north of Colusa, CA. If traveling south it is easy to take HWY 45 into Sacramento and then south on I5. If traveling north get off I5 and go north on hwy 45.

The Casino is located in the middle of a farming area and is surrounded by orchards. There are no hookups, no RV park, RVers are encouraged to stay overnight or a day or two. Security is in the parking area around the clock and watch over the vehicles there. A shuttle takes you the short distance to the casino. There is a large dirt level surfaced field behind the parking area for exercising the dogs and cats. Last summer the mosquitoes were voracious. Remember to close the screen door when you take the pet out to stretch. We forgot!!!
