The RV parking area is up hill. The parking lot is not level but the further back you go the better it gets. We did not experience any trucks. Casino is very nice and ADA friendly. They have a $10 gambling incentive when you sign up. We enjoyed ourselves. Would stay here again.

This casino resort has its own huge generator- enough to run the casino hotel, gas station and mini-mart. When Northern California had power shut off last week due to fires in Sonoma County this place was "up and running". But by Sunday the Sports Bar, gas station and restaurant had long lines for service. Parking lot is not level but there are areas that come close. Did not have 1 truck the 3 days we were here. Parking allowed for 3 days then you have to request an extension. BE AWARE: we have a small dog and he got sick during 1 night. Found Emergency Vet in Arcata- 30 minutes away. Diagnosis: "he got a bad batch of pot". YES, he had apparently picked up some off the ground without us noticing. The Vet. said she sees it all the time in animals in this area. He slept it off and is fine now. Continue to like stopping here.....

RVs mixed with trucks in the back part of the lot, More truck traffic than most casinos.
No way to get to non-smoking section without going through the smoke. Good burger in cafe, but service was a bit slow.

Bear River Casino Loleta CA
GPS N40 37.711 W124 12.390
Paved but moderately angled parking lots – RVs should go to the back as it is a little flatter
Casino typical with lots of slots as well as gaming tables
Hotel and Conference Centre
Restaurant, linen napkin level and a bit pricey, has great view over river valley with ocean in distance
No buffet but excellent prime rib (3 sizes) on Fridays
Security check-in, then take approval notice to Player’s Club desk, show ID again, get a Players Club Card and return to Security for a final signature.
This is the sort of system invented by employees concentrating on Security and Marketing aspects of the job, not by anyone with an inkling of good, common sense
Staff generally friendly and helpful if not ebullient
Bear River is a good location from which to set off and explore the rest of the coast. One passes into Oregon after half a day, not that that makes any difference as the roads are equally serpentine and the views just as impressive (once the fog lifts).

7/28/15. Easy access off the highway. Has good signs showing RVs where to go. The lot has no RV specific spots, its just a typical side lot for extra car parking. Lot is very level. Didn't see any water supply. The casino is quite nice. The machines are state of the art. The only video blackjack is in the bar. Players club card gives $5 of free play with no other perks.
