RV and Semi parking on the south end. Pull through and back in parking stalls. Good stop over for the night. Casino remodel complete with exception of a couple restaurants, opening soon. Would stay again. Casino has a nice RV park as well, $40 a night if you want full hook ups.

Casino currently under renovation, only half capacity of slot machines available during construction. All RV sites are pull thru, however they have positioned an entertainment amphitheater close enough to the park that a bands bass will rattle your coach. All of their shuttle service golf carts were broken at the time of our visit July 2021 which is a little inconvenient in 106 degree weather. Only one restaurant available which was severely understaffed. When the chef is serving and management is bussing, you know staff are stretched thin. I wish the staff well during their remodel and staffing challenges, such is our post-2020 world. Regardless, everyone was upbeat with a smile and we had great customer service.

By the time we went to bed last Tuesday the Truck parking lot was full- 90% trucks and most of them had their engines running. And they moved in and out all night. We had gotten between 2 other RV's on the far area so the noise wasn't too bad- but constant. Had the best chicken Quesadillas in the bar - WOW. They put chicken, cheese, grilled onions and grilled bell peppers inside. So tasty. Was told you could also add grilled jalapenos. Great friendly staff.

Stayed overnight 12-18-18. RV park was full due to FEMA filling it with folks displaced from fire destroyed Paradise. We took a pull thru space in truck parking and extended our slides, as did a number of others. During night trucks came and went in lot, and in morning we had rigs on both sides. Those drivers are excellent at parking within the lines, so we were fine with slides out. The trailers were also effective at blocking out noise. So, if dry camping works for you, do the same and stay in truck lot. Food inside was good and reasonably priced. Fuel is name brand and fairly priced. We'll stop here again.

Stayed in the overnight Trucking/RV lot. Lot a good size with wide lanes plenty of room to drive in and out. Most lanes are pull-through but those on the edge are back in. Some people mention dog poop and butts but I didn't see any of that. Trucks and RV tend to stay at opposite ends of the lot so it wasn't that noisy. Was able to pick up resort Wifi without any trouble. Ate in the lounge, food was good bar food with large portions and reasonably priced. $20 credit on their free players card which also gives discounts on food and accommodation. Will stay again.

This place really impressed with its separate shower, laundry, and bathroom facilities right by the overnight lot. The shower ($10 or 100 casino points) and laundry are for a fee, but the bathrooms are free. There is also a Chevron on the other corner of the lot. We liked that the casino was just a couple minute walk from the rv/truck lot and was clean. The other nice features include self serve soda fountain machines and coffee, as well as several $5 minimum blackjack tables (I won't sit down for more!...too cheap). It is truly just off the 5, but it was pretty quiet as long as the truck next to you doesn't run all night.

This place has gone down hill in last few years. We have stayed here several time in last 10 yrs when traveling along I5. Park has cigarette butts laying all over and dog poop. There is a site manager but he doesn't do much if anything. If you need a place withe electric, water and sewer for about $35, thenit's ok.

Stayed overnight last night. They allowed us to fill our water tanks and dump for $10. The full hook-up sites were $35 and looked average! No grass but nice trees and walking distance to the Casino. We dry camped but it was mostly big rigs with their generators on all night. Not the greatest, but it was free, safe and clean. The Casino was really nice. We went to the buffet and rate it a 4 out of 5 (which is really good for us) . Friendly staff, small buffet, but good variety and very tasty and fresh! Lots of table games. We won more than enough to cover dinner and dump. What more can you ask for? Nice overnight stop overall!

Nov 9th, 2016 - Corning, Ca - Rolling Hills Casino Free parking overnight in truck lot, plus a very nice RV Park - $28, or , only $23 for me as I went golfing and took advantage of one of their package deal ($58 for golf and RV Park stay, incl. cart) Given $10 credit with Player’s Card, plus another $10 just for being a Canadian? Buffet excellent with prime rib, chicken etc – all for $14.95 Tuesdays and Thursdays 1/2 price, so the same buffet will be about $8. The main truck-parking area was pretty well empty and had nice big lines when I arrived mid-afternoon. Later, I was told that slide-outs were not allowed as trucks needed to park in close formation. By middle evening, close to 80 rigs, some of which kept engines going all night, making the RV Park much more attractive. An additional down- factor in rating the free truck parking area was the fact that many truckers save up their pee in plastic jugs. These get poured all over the parking lot, leaving stains and smell as fond memories. Corning is also home to the “Pit Stop”, At which every variety of olive known to man is sold. I bought blue-cheese olives as well as some stuffed with garlic and cheese - very yummy!

RV park was basic with full hookups. Nice and close to highway, not loud though. All pull thru's. $28 for the night and had to pay for $4 each for shower use. They supply towels etc. A real trucker stop. Only stayed one night but signed up for casino card and got some free slot play. Best buffet we have seen and being a senior only $8. A great deal.

Being that we live in the Bay Area "Napa" we have many times just jumped in the car for a road trip to this casino for dinner and a little gambling. Next to where the RV and truck area is they also have a pet resting area so you can gamble and not worry about your pet getting to hot in the rig. I have parked my RV in the parking lot to have dinner and have never had any problems, i just havent been there where i had time to stay in the RV park but i like what i see. The NHRA guys stay there with there rigs on there way to Sears Point and wow thats a show. If i can figure out how to make my pictures smaller i would post a few to show the rigs. The buffett has a special price for us older folks, and to top it off the food is wonderful morning noon or dinner. I love the fact they have self serve Coke products in the casino,i dont like that i cant find any nickel keno machines seems there all .25 cents. If your on Interstate 5 stop in for a look you will like what you see and taste. Dec 2012

Nov 22, 2008

report from Dar & Andy, Nov 22, 2008 We overnighted here for one night (Nov 22, 2008) on our way south for the winter. Fortunately we arrived in the early afternoon (2:30pm) and had our choice of parking in the Truck Stop area. Make sure you arrive fairly early as it fills up quickly with truckers. The top portion - near the paid RV park is quietest. The wi-fi is quite expensive and the Casino Buffet is about a 5 on a scale of 10 (lots of choices but all kind of dry from heat lamps etc. and a little expensive compared to other locations).

June 2008

report from C. Randle, June 2008 We love to visit The Olive Pit in Corning and have parked at the nearby Rolling Hills Casino several times. It is very friendly and, if you can find a place near the back, fairly quiet. When they opened their RV Park I was afraid that they may stop people from boondocking and direct them instead to the pay area. This has not been the case so far. Last winter we parked in the area to the North of the casino where everyone used to park before the RV Park opened and we were not bothered. This is an ideal place to stop for the night.

March 2007

report from Terri, March 2007 Terri here again....Just an update for you. We just stayed at Rolling Hills Casino in Corning 3 days ago. They have opened their RV park! All pull-thrus. Paved inner roads, gravel pads. Check-in was quick and easy. Slide your credit card through and get a receipt. Park in any empty spot. $25 a night. Drive past the main entrance to the casino to the Chevron station, turn right and follow the signs straight ahead. They also have a building with showers, fax and internet service if you need. A gas/diesel station (Chevron and a CFN) is easy access. There is a shuttle to the casino, but it was just a very short walk. Nice to stretch our legs after auto racing all weekend.

April 2006

report from I. Matheny, April 2006 Rolling Hills in on I-5 at Corning California about 125 miles north of Sacramento. There are both Big-Rig parks and RV areas. We have spent many nights with never a question asked. Most night we see several dozen motor home/campers in the lot. Plenty of space for the 40 footer pulling a toad. Buffet is quite adequate and not very expensive. Gambling is fine, with a nice 'Non-Smoking" area. We have spent 10-15 nights there over the last 5 years, We always look forward to spending a few hours in the casino and at the buffet. Wife always makes a couple of dollars and feels good after.
