Casino Camper Report, October 2008

NO RV parking, but the new Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, IN is large, beautiful, and modern. We overnighted at the Cabella's, intersection of I-80 and US-41, and drove our toad to the Horseshoe.

Positive comments: Large, spacious, you'll think you're in Las Vegas. Good video poker, many video poker machines 99.5% and better. Buffet was excellent, other dining includes a steakhouse and two upscale counter-service venues, one with Asian, the other with comfort food and sandwiches.

Negative: Valet parking costs $10.00! Diamond and above free

We've made it a regular stop, overnight at Cabela's and visit here.
