Changes at the Angel of the Winds Nov 2015
Things are under construction at The Angel. As of Nov/15, RV parking (Dry ) is at the paved north parking lot. They still want you to register at the Gas Station (south area) but there is no charge. There are still 3 electric hookups here but may be for disabled only(?) Hopefully they will once again create proper power outlets on the property soon,

They've created a new, paved parking area for RV dry camping. The sites are well marked and long. They are located on the north side of the casino. The gravel area previously used for dry camping is being paved into another parking lot. The electric sites (fee) are on the south side of the casino. We found the grill/fast food very well priced and good tasting. The players card gets a 15% discount on dining and 7cents/gallon of fuel. We got diesel for $2.47 a gallon! Wife played the slots, but came away poorer. Casino staff was all very friendly. Happy hour is $2 domestic beer, house wine and well drinks and 50% off pizza.

So SAD.... MOVED RV parking LOCATION behind the casino. 4 RV sites w/shared electrical & 17 Dry sites behind Casino.  Very poor electric if anyone else is there. They repaved all the old sites and made them car parking and tore out the electric boxes.  All RV parking is behind the casino now. The verizon signal was very poor behind the casino. No wifi available back there either.  Electric sites 1 & 3 would be the preferred sites as the electric box is at the corner.  Site 2&4 you need an extension cord for the electric to reach around your rig to the box. Site 4 is more angled down so you have the front of rig up quite a bit. They did put it 17 newly paved dry sites. Sites closest to the road are level, farther away from the road the sites get angled downward more.  Dry sites are first come first served.   You need to register with the gas station clear on the other side of the casino lot no matter if you dry camp or use the electric sites.  $15 + tax for electric sites. Dry sites are free.

This use to be the friendliest place...., it's gone downhill as they add and renovate.   We ate at the buffet as usual but my beverage didn't come until I was done with my dinner, stalling before dessert.  Hard to wash down dinner without anything to drink, not even water.

They have made further changes at Angels that show they do not care about RV gamblers.

Last fall they did away with most of the electric sites, paving them over. They do have a boondocking area north of the casino. They now charge $15.00 a night to boon dock. There are 4 electric sites which they now charge $25.00 a night. No coupon book either, With the addition of their hotel I guess they no longer want or need RV gamblers. Too bad - it was a fun place to visit in the past. Also heard there is a drug problem in their parking lot. Further they have tightened their slot machines (guess they need to pay for the hotel and also their fancy new Admin building).

Casino is smoky, food is terrible, they have restricted their comps. With so many choices within a 30 mile radius, go elsewhere.

In my opinion, head down the road to Marysville (10 minute drive). The casino there welcomes RV with open arms. Free boondocking (wish they would add electricity). Security is present frequently making you feel safe. Many more food choices in and outside the casino. Other things to do with your family. Better choice than being stuck in the middle of nowhere, at a place that doesn't value RV gamblers.

This Casino is not too far from where we live. We occasionally stay there if we plan on being late. When they built the hotel the did away with a very good RV area. Now they have a small lot that is un-level and only have a few hook up sites. The bad part is if you stay there its 20 bucks for Dry camping! We typically just park in parking lot away from everyone else. they don't seem to care and if you are dry camping its better than paying 20 bucks for an un level spot with no hookups/wifi or anything. The Casino is decent, the food in the brewery is really good. the lounge usually has good music on the weekends.
over all a good stay, just stay away from there so called RV area. Unless you are lucky enough to get a hook up site but I have never seen them empty.
