Nice casino with an RV park. They "may" allow overnight dry camping - for a fee.

Casino Camper Review, July 2006
One of our members on the CasinoCamper forum told us he stayed here in early July and dry camping is still available even with the new RV park open. So we made plans to visit. Timing was good too, because everything East of here is over 100 degrees.
The dry camping here is clean, level gravel and it's free. Just check in at the RV park office and fill out a registration card. Stay is limited to 7 days, after which you have to leave for 24 hours and can come back. Dump is $10. Spaces are wide enough for slides, but barely so. If three multi-slide rigs park together the one in the middle may feel a little squeezed. We have no slides, so no problems. Laundry is available and is new.
RV Park is nice, but again a little tight. Prices are a little high by my standards, $29 for a regular site, $39 for water front.
Gambling here is a mixed bag (skip this section if you don't gamble)
Tables The best plays are Blackjack, Spanish 21, Craps and live Poker. BJ is a 6 deck shoe, H17, DA2, NoDAS, NoRSA, NS. You'll get about 5 decks penetration.
Video Poker is awful. Bonus Poker at Quarter level is 8/5/4/3/1/1 (94%) at the Half and Dollar level you get 6/5 BP (96.8%), JOB is 7/5 (96.1%) and there are others but nothing worth playing. Some progressives, which is nice if you hit them.
Poker There's a small NL Hold'em tournament Sunday through Thursday at 11am, $20 freezeout-shootout one hour. Pays 3 places. 4/8 and/or 2/4 No-Fold'em-Hold'em most of the time with a short waiting list. Often 6 or 7 players seeing the flop. Don't even think about bluffing, but normal solid play will win in the long run. I understand there's occasionally a NL cash game, but buy-in is limited to $100. Might be fun though.

NO FREE RV CAMPING/NO DRY RV CAMPING
Literally within 8 minutes of our arrival, security knocked on our motor home door. He didn't ask if we were going to gamble, eat, or otherwise use any of the casino facilities. He simply said that there was no overnight parking.
Although this site indicates you can dry camp for $25, THAT IS NOT TRUE.

Avoid this RV park. We have stayed her several times and each time something has always been stolen. There's a homeless camp near here and they are always coming thru the park asking for money, shower code, and digging thru garbage cans. The train runs thru here often and they blow that whistle long. The roads inside the campground flood all the time, and the wifi is spotty. You're better off at a mom and pop RV park than this mess hole.
The casino is a dirty smokey pit hole with machines so tight you're tossing your money down the drain. AWFUL place.

We spent one night in the RV lot. It cost $15.00 but included use of the laundry, bathrooms and showers which were very clean and warm on a cool morning. We were also allowed to use a dump station at any vacant lot. The RV lot is hard gravel and level. The RV resort is located on Coos Bay. Very pretty sunrise. I recommend staying here.

$15 dry camp in big lot next to rv FHU camping site (don't know cost there). Access to dump and WiFi. FHU site very busy so was not able to drive through to use dump. Nice casino with regular tables and lots of slots. Dining seemed Pricey so did not try. Grocery and Fuel readily available.

NO FREE OVERNIGHT PARKING ALLOWED ANYMORE. Dry Camp/Parking Lot Camping in an RV is now $15 per night. You must register at the RV park and display your receipt in your window. This does give you access to the RV Park Showers/Laundry/Water Fill/DumpStation/Free Wi-Fi. Shuttle service comes around routinely.
We parked on the gravel closest to the casino and was too far away from the wi-fi, so you must have to park closer to the RV park. I would still continue using this lot despite the $15 fee. No broken down 'living there' RVs anymore. Very Large Level gravel lot.
(Editor's comment: Well that's a shame, $15 isn't bad for non-gamblers, but I expect a lot of people leave more than that behind in the casino. Thanks for the report!)

There is great looking RV park but as we were just stopping overnight we elected to stay in the boondocking area. Registered with the campground office where the staff was very friendly and welcoming.

I Love this casino. I've been playing here for several years and 3 times dry camping in their open gravel lot. You'll need to check in to the RV Park to let them know that you're camped in the dry camping area. You can stay for 3 days and addtitonal days are available if have gambled. There is a casino shuttle that is available for those who don't want to walk the short walk to the casino. The machines are a bit tight but I have won enough to cover food and drinks with my wins. The casino is located next to Hwy 101 which can be a bit noisy. If you like try an awesome martini, stop by the smoke free lounge and ask for a "whitecap."

I found all the employees had a bad attitude beginning when i signed up for a players card. Didn't eat here and there was no incentive to stay and play. We stayed in the dry camping area but wanted to use their showers, laundry, etc. Was told we had to pay $5 @day to use any of it. Real noisy next to #101. Shuttle never stopped for us to ride it to casino. We won't return.

Report from Marlin & Kay, April 2010
This casino is located right on 101 so it is easy to find. There is a full hook up RV park on the water; the free RV parking is on a dirt parking lot closest to the highway. The lot is level and access is easy and clearly marked for the RV park. Use that same entrance. You must register in the RV office where they will give you a permit for up to 7 nights. They provide a good trash receptacle and you can dump for $10 in the RV park. The highway noise is not bad at all. This is a convenient location; security patrols regularly so you could easily leave your RV and go out exploring.
