Report from Sherri E., June 11, 2009

As of May 2009, RV camping is on a first-come, first-served basis, across the street from the casino, no reservations. Check in at the Player's Club desk in the casino, no fee if you have a player's club card with a couple of hours of game time on it. Water and electricity, but no dump or internet.

Staff is friendly, casino is clean, separate non-smoking game room, adequate wait-staff, but also self-serve soft drinks and coffee.  Fridays and Saturdays are Seafood buffet, which can be free if you have enough points on your card, with discounts for seniors. There's also a deli and a couple of other restaurants.

Free shuttle service from RV area to casino, but unless the weather's really bad, you won't need it as it's a very short, easy walk, regularly patrolled by security, and is well-lit.

It's about 8 miles west off I-5, but casino is confusing to first time players, since some slots take cash or tickets, and some slots take a card only. The also have craps, poker, and other table games.

We have stayed there many times, as they also have a hotel with smoking and non-smoking rooms for the times we didn't want to bring the RV.

July, 2009
Report from Just Wanderin', July, 2009
We stayed at the Lucky Eagle Casino between Olympia and Centralia, WA. This casino actually has a nice RV park with electric, and water. The first night we paid $14. The second night could be free if you spend an hour "gambling" in the casino. This casino really didn't offer much free other than that. If you want to play the slots or tables, they will give you a $2 credit. They will also offer you $2 off in their steak restaurant. We wanted the buffet so didn't use the steak restaurant coupon. The seafood buffet was wonderful. We ate there a couple of nights and ended up extending our stay ... since we did well on the slots.

This is a nice place to stay and spend some time. We'll definitely stay again as we travel north in the summer.

The only down side about the campground is that if you park next to someone that has slides on opposite sides as yours you are going to be kissing close. Water and 20/30/50 electric. Great food in the restaurant, One thing is that they didn't charge sales tax here. Others in WA do.

No Day Time Parking
Did a drive-by intending to grab a lunch and make a donation. They use to allow short term parking in the very south of the casino parking lot but apparently that has ended. All kinds of No Parking signs. We thought for a second about parking and checking if it was allowed for day time visit but decided just to move on.
