Cactus Pete's Casino

Cactus Pete's, right off US 93 in Jackpot NV offers both RV campground sites as well as general parking (boon docking). When you first pull in to the parking area, you'll notice a campground section. But wait, if you drive to the bottom of the campground, and look to your left, you'll see a 2nd, more private campground run by Cactus Pete's - this one (East location) has showers and laundry. Both areas offer full hook up and pull thru sites. If you take campground, during weekend the back area is supposed to be staffed, otherwise, go to the hotel desk to pay. If you're not feeling lucky and don't want to spend a few bucks for their sites ($24 in May '18), you can park for free in the parking lots. One popular area is with the tractor trailers, but personally I don't like listening to them all night, so we parked in a general parking area near the front campground but not the general parking area. Nothing out front is level so bring boards or plan to tip a bit. Inside the casino are lots of slots as well as some table games. People seemed happy as they played.

25 May 2017 Overnight parking is still available both here and Horseshu Casino across the road, but it is on reasonably level blacktop amongst the trucks. RV park is $22 Water/electric, dump available. Casino has multiple dining options, Buffet is really good value!

Also full hookup park in season behind Cactus Pete's with a shuttle from casino to your rig. Believe we paid $14 off season in overflow park last January. Cannot recall price of park preceding summer as we used points to pay for the site. If you are registered in the park you also are allowed use of the pool and spa at the hotel. There is also plenty of room to dry camp in their parking lot or in the parking area of the Horseshu across the street. Be aware that many big rig trucks also park in these lots and in the colder months they keep their engines running which might disturb the lighter sleeper. Four casinos to choose from for all types of gambling. We've been visiting Jackpot for many years and love the small casino experience. Cactus Pete's has an excellent high end restaurant for elegant dining as well as a good buffet, coffee shop and snack bar. The other casinos also have several different choices for food.
