Lone Butte is now Gila River Casino, one of 3 locations around Phoenix. RV parking allowed in only one section, follow signs that say truck route. Signs say parking limited to 24 hours. 4 eating places inside but very expensive. Panda Express meal is $18. No security registration

Parking is allowed on the east side of the casino in designated RV / Truck spots of which there are about 5 -- so Limited space. You enter at the Back (south-west) end and drive across all the speed bumps. While we were there, they were putting up signs posting 24 hour stay limit. We checked in at the players desk and they said as long as we were Playing it probably wasn't a problem so we stayed 2 days, but with the new signs I bet they start checking. This casino is part of the Gila Bend group along with Wild Horse (across the Hwy to the west) and the Vee Quiva farther west. Each allows overnight with varying quality. This is a nice casino with Bingo (which we won at), not too smokey and pleasant people. Lots of slots, BJ, Video Poker, 3-card, hold 'um and PaiGow. We did not avail ourselves of any dining (which I thought was limited anyway) but enjoyed the stay and will return for Fun and Games !! Notice !! ---- I did meet a few other people staying in smaller RV's and Van who said they were just parking (and had been for Days) with no Casino action. I reminded them (politely) that the Reason casino's allow us RV'ers to stay for Free in their parking lots is for us to patronize their establishment - even if it's just for a meal if you don't Gamble, but to just stay for Free in the lot with NO visits into the casino reflects on All of us and is a Big reason most of the Phoenix area casino's no longer allow overnight parking for RV's and certainly not for Free. With so many travelers coming in the winter months we can't just fill up their lots with no remuneration and expect to Continue to be welcomed !! PLEASE - if you're going to stay at a Free casino as an RV or traveler, Patronize their facility in Some way so that the convenience of staying may continue ! Thanks from All of us fellow RV travelers - and Gamers !!

Park west side of lot. Some truck traffic during night and some freeway noise. Security patrols. We now park at Wild Horse Pass.
