New casino is still on hold. The parking lot is pretty muddy if wet but it is nice and quiet (once the music stops). Friendly staff and security patrols the lot on a regular basis.

March 3, 2009
report from Karen B, March 3, 2009

We stopped as we were passing to check on the construction of the new casino. It looks like it's been put on hold. Some of the footers have been poured and pipes stubbed up but nothing else has been done. The route to the the RV parking is in bad shape, big potholes - parking is located where Gary T. reported. Check in is required and stay is limited to 72 hours.

They are in the process of building new casino buildings so the wonderfully huge parking area from the past is now closed. Right now, you have to drive on past the existing casino buildings and park in the lot behind the buildings. It isn't too bad since it is right next to a big vineyard. Not sure what they will do about RV parking after the new casino is built. It is scheduled to be completed late this year but it doesn't look that way to me. Seems like 2009 is more likely. Still a decent place to park and the folks do seem friendly.

Look for the big -Trucks and RVs Welcome - sign. This is a good place for an overnight stop because it’s very easy to get to from US 101.

The lot is large gravel area located next to the reservation police station. The casino is a pre-fabed building that resembles a circus tent . It’s fairly small.

report from S. Zanoline , June 2006

Shodaki Casino in Ukiah, Ca. Located approx 2 hours north of San Francisco. They have a large parking area for RV's and we have been up there several times with no problems. The casino is small, but they recently remodeled it, and it's got a lot of fun machines. They seem to pay pretty well and the staff is very friendly!
