Stayed Sept. 5-7, 2019. We enjoyed a wonderful 3 nights with hook-ups at the casino. A fair price for electric and water sites. We also used the pool and hot-tub. There were some good dining specials and the food was good. They do leave the parking lot lights on at night, but it didn't bother us. The RV sites got full each night we were there, with many dry-camping in the parking lot. A couple semi trucks also came in each night, but they were quiet. The casino was never real busy (that we saw). There is a theater there with Mark Chestnut coming in to play for only $19 a night. Overall, a nice visit.

Beautiful little casino. Lots of slots and some tables includ. craps (limited open time). Parking lot for Free is on a slope so you will need some good leveling. The "RV Park" area is around the edges of the parking lot with w/e pedestals and is $15 night to hookup. There is a dump station in the back as you exit. Very dark at night (which I personally like) because they have turned off the parking lot lights. Don't know that I specifically saw security drive around but the area itself is secluded and quiet and we may look to 'stay awhile'. Quaint little city with an IGA for grocery and adequate fuel locations, good tv and phone reception. Don't miss the views of the Mackinac Bridge from city parks in town.

This campground is located on the lower level parking lot. Rv area is clearly labeled. No reservations, just pick a site and go to the hotel desk to register. Sites are kind of close together, and have a view of the parking lot. However, the utility boxes, water spickets, and picnic tables are brand new. All back in sites, about 20 available. Also now open is a brand new dump station. The cost is $10 per night, cash only. No limit on length of stay. We stayed a week over 4th of July, and it was fairly busy. Arrive early in the day to ensure a spot. You could also park for free in the regular lot if sites are full. The casino is lakefront. You are allowed to use the pool/hot tub/fitness room with beautiful lake views. The friday night fish fry is $16/pp and was not that good. Convenient location just 2 miles from downtown St. Ignace. Wi-fi available at the hotel, but could not reach from the site. Ladies get $5 free play on Fridays. Free hot dogs on Wednesdays. Also free soda/coffee inside casino.

There have been improvements since the last reviewer's update. We arrived and followed the clearly marked sign for RV parking. The casino has installed 21 brand new hookups along two sides of the parking lot. Each spot has a new 20/30/50 amp pedestal and a water spigot....but as of August 16, 2011, they had not turned on the water. We backed in, plugged in, and went to the casino's hotel check-in desk to register. They took our name and vehicle data, and asked us how long we wished to stay. Get this.....it's all free! We stayed 3 days and visited the area and the casino. There is a garbage dumpster available, but I saw no dump station. I'm not certain this qualifies as just "overnight parking" or a full-fledged "RV campground".....probaly somewhere in the middle. During our stay, the RV hookups were about half full. Also, some RVers just pulled into the lot and spent the night without plugging in. The lot is plenty big, and reasonably level. My favorite game is craps. The casino had one craps table that only opened beginning at 6 pm. There weren't many people at the table when I played....but the minimum bet is only $2! It's been a long time since I've seen that.

Report from Norm Payne, August 12, 2010 See Ya' Down The Road https://www.seeya-downtheroad.com   There are two parking lots for RV camping. When entering the casino a sign points to the right for RV and Bus parking. There are a few 20-amp hookups on dirt. RVers are also allowed to park anywhere in the gravel lot as long as your rig doesn't block tour bus parking. Instead of turning right into that lot you can turn left and park in the large and level paved lot below the casino.   We have parked in this lot two times and were told we could stay as long as we wanted. Both times there were several RVs boondocking in the lot. The casino had loose slots the four days we stayed there and some specials on their excellent buffet. If you take your paid ticket from crossing the Mackinac Bridge they will reimburse you $7 after you play the slots a few minutes and we got free money for being seniors. We always enjoy staying at this casino.

September 2009

Report from Don B., September 2009 They have two parking areas. One just as you come in and one on up the hill. We parked in the upper lot which is much flatter. You can pick up wi-fi while parked in the upper lot also. The casino is very nice.

September 2008

Report from Norm Payne See Ya' Down The Road https://www.seeya-downtheroad.com   The new casino is open and still allows RV overnight parking. The tent that held the slots is now for entertainment. In addition to the old RV and Bus parking lot (that is unlevel) there is now a large, paved and level lot on the left side of the casino for RV overnight parking. I estimate it will hold 20 RVs. I stayed there the night of 9/01/2008 with about 12 other RVs.

August 2008

- report from Gail H., August 2008 We visited Kewadin at St. Ignace, MI. They do not have an RV park but it is okay to dry camp in the parking lot. One lot is sloping and the other is mostly level. Their casino has rooms and a restaurant with a gorgeous view. The slot machines are now in the casino (not the tent area)

August 2007

- report from Karen B, August 2007 The RV lot is on the right just after you turn into the casino entrance. The new casino building is beautiful but all of the machines are in the tent structure. Mostly three reel slots and newer penny machines.
