Report
from Don B., September 2009
This casino has an
area on the parking lot that is lined off for RV’s, vehicles with trailers
and tour buses. It is pretty close quarters. We were invited to park
across the street (Route 47) from the casino in an area that they own. We
parked in a level grassy area. You could pick up wi-fi from their hotel
from were we parked. The casino is nice. They have a Bingo parlor just off
the parking lot in a separate building. The Indians have a campground with
full hookups ($30/night) about one mile north of the casino. There is a
convenience store/fuel station with gas and diesel adjacent to the parking
lot.

Report from Kees and Ann, July 9,
2009
Lac du Flambeau Tribal Campground (in Trailer Life '08 it
is listed as RV Park) in Lac du Flambeau WI is about one mile from the
casino, Lake of the Torches. It is not a part of the casino but they do have
have free transportation to and from the park. However, we found it a good
walk and they had sidewalks all the way.
Most sites with full hookups are seasonal. However, they
do have a dump station and, also, showers etc. If you have a boat, it is a
perfect spot. You are surrounded by water. Hope this gives you a good add-on
to the previous write up.
- report from Karen B, August 2007
There are no signs
for RV parking but there are longer parking spaces in the back of the lot.
The casino and Indian reservation are surrounded by a vacation home and
resort area so the casino is very busy at times. We arrived on Thursday
and it was fairly quiet but by five PM on Friday the parking lot , which
is pretty large , had begun to fill. By seven all the spaces were taken
including the longer ones. It was empty again in the morning but if you’re
planning to go over a weekend arrive early enough in the day to get a
space.
The casino is medium size with a good variety
of slot machines , a few banks of poker machines and about twelve tables.
There were about fifteen multi denominational poker machines with 10 play ,
50 play , spin poker , five aces , pick your own wild card and multi strike.
Most of these machines went all the way down to pennies , something I’d
never seen on a multi strike machine. Since I love multi strike but am not
good enough to pay it with quarters or even nickels, I had a lot of fun on
these machines.
The casino is in the middle of Lac du
Flambeau , a really nice little town . There is museum ( small but good
presentation of local Indian history and culture ), post office and fully
stocked grocery store all within two blocks of the casino.
The reservation also has a campground about a
mile away. There’s a sidewalk to town and the casino but I don’t know if
there’s a shuttle. We stopped to take a picture and it looked nice with
large spaces, shade and access to the lake.
