There are two RV parks here. One small one with
electric only with water and dump nearby for $5/night at the edge of the
casino parking lot. Their main park is 4 miles away down by the Missouri
River. It's electric only with water and dump nearby for $10/night. The bath
house was clean and well kept. The only down side of this park was that it
was located 3 miles down a bumpy and steep dirt road that turned to gumbo
with all the rain we had in May. We were actually trapped down there a few
days waiting for the road to dry out. We stayed there for 3 weeks and had
the park mostly to ourselves.

Neat little RV
park at the edge of the parking lot. All spaces pull through with full hooks
ups. Cost was $10/day. We stayed here for about 2 weeks and found the casino
to offer great promotional offers almost every day. There was no bath house
so you had to use your own shower.

We
have stayed at Dakota Magic several times, usually in the RV Park. This
spring we went through but all facilities except electricity were off. I was
given the option of staying in the RV Park for $5.00 or in the parking lot
for nothing. Because we are self contained I opted for the parking lot.
Security came by and advised they would keep an eye on our rig during the
night. We parked along the perimeter by the flags (which they take in at
night so no rattling of the ropes).

Pull
thru sites as part of a casino operation. Located behind casino. Full
hookup; Level concrete sites with grass between sites. Nice casino

We have stayed there a couple of
days. The campground was pretty full and Lot's of boats. Showers where
dirty. We stayed on the parking lot on the left side behind the Museum. It
had electric outlets and we asked at the hotel how much it was and where
told nothing - if we stay only a couple of night.

This
small RV park has full hook ups but the spaces are small and close together.
The cost is $12/night but drops to $6/night if you stay over 30 days. The
scenery is spectacular with Lake Sakakawea only a few hundreds yards from
the park. We are spending the rest of the summer here and have reservations
for next year.

4 Bears RV Park overlooks beautiful Lake Sacakawea.
Bring your boat, lake access, supplies, etc. Full hookups.
Shower and laundry facilities. A really nice park for a fishing trip or a
couple days relaxation even without the casino.

- report from Arley R.,
June, 2007.
We camped @
Spirit Lake Casino. When registering I asked about any discounts or
promotions. I was very sharply told there were none. When I parked my RV
and hooked up electric, my alarm went off and I checked the power. 139 to
141 volts. I checked adjacent sites, same thing. I went to desk and asked
them if they were aware of high voltage. No one seemed the least bit
concerned if there would be any damage to electronics, etc. I asked for my
money back and left.
- report from reader A. Van,
August 2006.
Very nice new casino on the south side of Devils Lake, ND's
largest natural lake. Also an onsite hotel, marina (with boat rentals),
cabins and camping. The casino has free RV parking in their large
lot. On the fringes of the lot are about 50 RV spaces with
electric at a $18/nite.
An RV park
itself has been built (and continues as of 8/06 to be built) on the west
side overlooking the marina. Sites are back in with double wide level
concrete pads. Estimate that the average site width is 50'. All sites
appeared more than large enough to handle our 40' fifth. These sites are
full hookup with 50 amp service. There is a bath house and a small
laundry. Some of the sites are lakeview with the marina in the foreground.
These sites are $25/nite. Interior sites are $22/nite. Player's Club
membership provides a 10% discount and hotel rooms and RV sites can be
paid for with Player's Club points at a 75% discount (10,000 pts = $10.
cash but 7,500 pts = $10. room or site discount.) All paying RV site
patrons can use the indoor hotel facilities including large pool with 2
story slide.
