I saw on the website that Lee T. had stayed there last December. We had stayed there a few years ago and although security did permit it , they were not happy about it. I think that they may have let us stay because it was fairly late in the evening and we were going into the casino and didn't know how long we would be staying.  This time as soon as we stopped in the upper lot a security truck drove up and the driver informed us that we could not stay in the lot overnight unless we had a room in the hotel. If we did he would issue a pass. A pass was not necessary for a day visit.  Our experience was quite different from Lee's so you might want to post a warning.

Now at the Sun Coast Casino, it is a very nice place and it has a wonderful and safe, paved and well lighted over sized vehicle lot up the hill just past the main entrance and behind the casino side parking deck. I had to get a parking pass (free) from the roaming security truck (mine was for three days but I have been using it ever since with no complaints.) When I am not at the Orleans I can usually be found at the Sun Coast.
