Three photos above from Jim - April 2008

June 2006, CasinoCamper was driving thru Tonopah and saw the Banc Club.
Quickly stuck the camera out the window and snapped this photo.

Report, July 2007
We stopped at
the Banc Club just after noon on a Friday. I needed to do an hour of
work online, and Tonopah has Sprint EVDO service. As others have
said, it's a dirt parking lot but big and free. We ate in the
restaurant and every table was full for lunch. We had sandwiches,
the Philly Cheese Steak and a "Malibu"; both were very good. We
found progressive 8/5 Bonus Poker at the bar. Chris played quarters
and hit the Aces for $108 and the SF for $97. There was also a
dollar progressive. A sand storm came up, so I didn't get a new
photo. The place was OK, and the staff was friendly. OK for a
lunch stop, or overnight.

Yes, but the
worst place I have ever eat at, and especially for a casino. The
porterhouse steaks were about 3/8" thick, grilled on the outside and still
froze on the inside, sent back to the kitchen, came back the same way.
Waitress agreed they were bad, gave us a 10% discount (should have been
100% discount, as neither one of us eat them)

We
drive Las Vegas to Reno and stop in Tonopah - Banc Club has truck & RV
parking. Dirt and bumpy but plenty of room. There is an interesting mining
museum also.
