In order to pin down some details for the OvernightRVParking Group listing,
I telephoned the casino this morning. The rate for the RV Park is $26.75,
and casino points can be used toward comps in the RV Park.
However, the CasinoCamper.com listing for this casino says, in an RVer's
report from last August, that free dry camping is also available in the
parking lot. The casino told me this morning that this is not correct --
that there is no overnight RV parking for occupied RVs at the Silver Slipper
Casino.
- report from Kim S., December,
2007
The Silver Slipper Casino in Mississippi now has an RV park with full
hook-ups. I cannot offer any specifics since I have not stayed there.
They have 24 sites available with more being added in the future.

You
can dry camp in their lot and they are right on the beach. (note
that this has been discontinued now that an RV park has been built -

The
Silver Slipper has lots more machines and tables than the Hollywood and is
definitely noisier. We got a little spoiled because the Hollywood is quiet
and relaxing to gamble in.
The Silver Slipper buffet was $10 for lunch
and $20 for dinner but on Tuesdays, seniors get 1/2 so 2 eat for those
prices and the food was fabulous. Especially barbeque and giant snow crab
and shrimp on the dinner. What did it most for me was that they make
wonderful hot funnel cakes at the dessert station with cherries,
blueberries, strawberries, whipped cream or just pounds of powdered sugar.
There are lots of table games, black jack and
blackjack 3 card poker with $5 and $10 tables everywhere. On Tuesday nights
was a black jack tourney with a $20 buy in and $800 or more first prize. My
husband came in 4th his first tourney which paid $85 dollars. He also won at
the tables so it was a very lucrative evening.
