General Comments from a long time Laughlin homeowner, and
now winter camper, Bill Jones
June, 2007: Well, Laughlin has changed a lot from what it was.
Ramada, River Palms, and Harrah's follow a 14 day rule, where you have to
register. Registration requires proof of insurance, registration and a
driver's license. You can renew every 14 days. Ramada requires you to move
to a new spot. Also the TV/toads must be parked separate from the RV.
Harrah's doesn't care.
The other casino's, except the Riverside, don't want any
evidence that you are spending the night there. Not only are the lots
checked by local security, but Metro also.
Oh, the AVI now requires points to be put on your card
and the dry camping is on dirt.
The Health Department has really created havoc for
everyone and chasing the RVer's away.
